Hands of Love USA is gathering a team of experienced and inexperienced runners willing to have a go at the fun 13.1 Half Marathon around Buckhead as a means to raise funds for the work amongst the orphans in Uganda.
Each runner will be encouraged to find 20 people willing to sponsor their race for $20 to meet our fundraising goals.
If you are interested in joining the team running this race there is a facebook support group and group training opportunities available. Coaching, training & medical support is being provided pro bono by Becky Harmon and Suzie Williams both experienced runners. Training officially starts July 1st, so if you would like to join the team contact Becky at becky@successnotsabotage.com and she'll let you know how to get started.
This will be a fun race and a great way to get in shape for a two fold benefit, i.e, yourself and the orphans of Uganda!!
