CHILD SPONSORSHIP

To tackle the massive task of caring for the orphans, we have established a child sponsorship program. In the two year period that Hands of Love has been operating, over 100 of the 225 children in the Kampala orphanage have gotten committed sponsors. Our goal is to find sponsorship for the remaining 110 children.

For $40 a month through the pre-adult life of an orphan, the sponsored child receives:
          • Food
          • Clothing (+ school uniform and shoes)
          • Bunk bed and mattress
          • A blanket
          • Daily education
          • Toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap

We also ask that a sponsor commit to sending money for gifts for his/her child’s birthday and at Christmas.

In return, it is our commitment to send you regular updates, personal letters from your child and photos of his/her progress.

After receiving your request, we will contact you to discuss further details then allocate a child to you based on your preferences and send you details about your child.
