Who We Are
What is the heart behind the hands?
We help ensure that Uganda’s most vulnerable children have access to education to better provide for their futures and break the cycle of poverty and realize their potential in Christ. Through our child sponsorship program, we meet educational needs through graduation in a Christ centered environment. Our sponsored children are being nurtured, encouraged, and mentored in addition to being educated. These children are the hope of the future as they grow into the men and women God created them to be, with the potential to effect real change in their families, businesses, communities, and nation.
We also support a team of partners that equips Ugandan individuals through a variety of programs, enabling them to advance Christ’s kingdom. We join our partners by extending their reach with shared visions of providing relief, hope, and a future for some of the most vulnerable children on earth as well as educating and empowering Ugandans to cause transformation.
What makes us unique?
Our organization in Uganda is founded, owned, and operated by Ugandans.
Uganda is a nation of children. This densely populated country is the youngest in the world, with more than half of its inhabitants below the age of 15. An estimated 3.2 million of these children are orphans.
Because our children are vulnerable or abandoned, they are dependent on assistance to meet their educational needs. Through our program, children are educated in Christ centered schools, mentored and discipled by our staff and taught the love of their Heavenly Father.
We emphasize personal relationship with all partners and between sponsors and their sponsored children. Our sponsors directly support their sponsored children and are encouraged to develop meaningful relationships. Sponsors can meet their children and visit whenever possible.
